Michael Vitale joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2018. He has practiced primarily in the area of civil litigation and appeals since 1979 and has extensive bench and jury trial experience in both federal and state courts. His practice areas include business and complex litigation, product liability defense, zoning and real estate disputes, employment litigation (representing management) and licensing and trademark issues.
Michael is a former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Manchester United Methodist Church in Manchester, Missouri.
Michael is a graduate of Washington University School of Law earning his Juris Doctor. There he was a member of the Order of Barristers. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Lake Forest College in Illinois, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
He is admitted to practice in the states of Missouri and Illinois. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri and the Eighth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Michael is a member of the American Bar Association (Litigation Section), as well as the Missouri and Illinois Bar Associations and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. In addition, he is a member of the National Italian American Bar Association of Missouri.
