Stacey Janssen brings more than 25 years of experience in elder law, estate planning, special needs planning, trust litigation, social security disability, patient’s rights, Medicaid, Medicare on behalf of families, senior citizens and special needs clients.
Stacey takes a consultative approach to her practice and makes a point of investing time in her clients, ensuring she has a complete knowledge of their unique circumstances, their immediate concerns and long-term goals. Prior to going into legal practice, Stacey dedicated 11 years to Kansas Legal Services, where she served as a Senior Citizen Law Project Coordinator and Elder Law Hotline Administrator. In these roles Stacey assisted senior citizens with a full range of legal matters, including Medicare, Medicaid, patient’s rights, estate planning and probate services. This direct, “hands on” experience has since proven invaluable to Stacey and her clients.
Stacey earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Art History from the University of Kansas. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law.
She is admitted to practice in the states of Missouri and Kansas.
