Abbey Fritz joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2017. She brings significant experience in the product liability defense representations, specifically those involving asbestos manufacturers, contractors and distributors. Abbey also has experience in the litigation of personal injury, construction accidents, the Dram Shop Act and employment discrimination matters. She has played key roles in the management of three mass tort dockets for national clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Abbey served as a litigation associate with major law firms in Edwardsville and Belleville, Illinois.
Abbey is a graduate of the Southern Illinois University School of Law – Carbondale, where she was a member of the National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Team and a volunteer in the SIU Legal Self-Help Clinic. She also completed an internship with the Madison County (IL) State’s Attorney’s office and served as a volunteer for the Illinois Innocence Project while in law school.
Abbey received a B.A., summa cum laude, from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville, where she served on the Student Legal Services Advisory Board. As an undergraduate student, Abbey volunteered as a student intern for the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation.
She is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois.
