Biography

Alicia Wherle joined Sandberg Phoenix as an Associate in 2016.

Alicia enjoys being able to help her clients solve a variety of unique legal issues. She has always been drawn to puzzles and solving problems and at Sandberg Phoenix each day brings a new opportunity to help her clients with any issue or question they may bring to her.

Outside of the office, Alicia spends her free time running and training for 5Ks, 10Ks and half-marathons, cooking, attending Cardinals and Blues games, spending time with her family.

Background

Alicia earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, graduating magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor in 2016 from Saint Louis University where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Saint Louis University Public Law Review.

While attending Saint Louis University, Alicia was part of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society, the Golden Key International Honor Society, where she served as corresponding secretary and Vice President, the Sigma Kappa Sorority, where she served as Vice President of Communications and the Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity.

Alicia previously worked as a Summer Associate at Sandberg Phoenix and von Gontard P.C. in 2015. She worked as a Research Assistant for the Political Science Department at Saint Louis University and worked as a Legal Intern for Bankruptcy Trustee.

She is currently a member of the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis.

Alicia received the Saint Louis University Presidential Scholar Award, the Saint Louis University School of Law 1843 Scholar Award. She was a Dean’s list student and was a recipient of the Academic Excellence Award at Saint Louis University School of Law for Labor Law and Securities Regulation.

Alicia is licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri.
