Doug works with a variety of business entities, including corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships, as well as sole proprietors, and offers them a wide range of legal services.

“Sandberg Phoenix was a great fit for my practice and experience,” Doug says, “especially the experience in business and real estate transactions.”

Coming to Sandberg Phoenix from a full service firm in the Northeast, Doug’s focus remains on providing high-quality work and very responsive client service, from helping new business ventures get off the ground to guiding business owners through transactions and contract negotiation. His wealth of experience in business law has established Doug as a trusted advisor to whom his clients can turn for a myriad of matters.

Doug limits his services to privately owned businesses rather than public companies and the unique challenges and opportunities facing such businesses.

“Acquisitions and sales can often be stressful, confusing and emotional for individuals intimately involved in their businesses; and, I strive to ease their emotions and guide them through the process efficiently and effectively,” says Doug.

A Missouri native, after practicing in the Northeast for several years, Doug returned to St. Louis in 2011 with his wife and daughter to be closer to their family and Cardinals baseball. In his free time, Doug enjoys cycling, swimming, racquetball and squash.
