James Neeld

Biography

With 15 years of experience as a transactional and finance attorney, James Neeld focuses his practice on real estate, purchases, sales, financings, public incentives, bonds and loans for developers and lenders. James represents national clients for all phases of real estate development, acquisitions and dispositions, many of which include various incentives including tax credit and tax increment financing structures. He also has significant experience in representing lenders, with a particular emphasis on complex financing structures for real estate financing involving bonds and other incentives.

James is committed to being extremely knowledgeable about, and taking a detail oriented approach to all phases of even the most complex transactions, which he sees as the key to consistently providing exceptional client service. “These transactions are invariably extremely complicated,” James says. “I focus on earning and maintaining the trust of my clients; they have to know that my team is fully committed to closing the transaction. Failing to close a transaction is not an option.

Background

James is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in Political Science, after which he attended The University of Oklahoma College of Law, graduating with a J.D. with distinction.

James frequently speaks at various seminars involving leasing, development and financing. Most recently, he was honored to speak at the American Bankers Association National Agricultural Conference in 2015 on the topic of “Complex Lending Structures.”
