Kevin Peek joined Sandberg Phoenix in March of 2018, bringing several years of experience in defending high-exposure medical malpractice claims and defending healthcare providers in the correctional setting. Kevin has represented numerous medical facilities and health care providers throughout the State of Missouri.
As an associate in the firm’s Health Law practice, Kevin assists in cases involving medical malpractice defense and defense of providers in correctional healthcare. Kevin strives to provide professional and thorough legal services to clients in order to create an appropriate defensive plan, and in an effort to reduce the stress created upon healthcare providers as a result of legal matters.
Outside of his legal practice, Kevin spends his time at concerts and Cardinals games, taking his two Jack Russell mixes to the Creve Coeur dog park, binge-watching Netflix and blogging on legal matters and technology.
Kevin attended Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Physics. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock – William H. Bowen School of Law.
Kevin is admitted to practice law in Missouri, and is licensed to practice before the United States District Courts of Eastern Missouri, Western Missouri and Kansas. Kevin is a member of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Greater St. Louis Claims Association and the Honorable Order of the Blue Goose.
Kevin participates annually as a Corporate Achiever with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to raise money for research. He also volunteers his time to work at local animal shelters.
Kevin provides pro bono services for the community, primarily dealing with adult guardianship matters. Because of his pro bono work, he was named by the Missouri Bar as an honoree of the 2016 Pro Bono Wall of Fame.
