Biography

Joining Sandberg Phoenix as an associate in 2017, Timothy Tevlin brings experience in a wide range of insurance defense, construction and personal injury defense litigation matters to the firm and its clients. Tim’s work is focused on taking each client’s perspective in handling matters. “I believe it’s important to ask question and listen carefully to clients,” Tim says. “Every client has different priorities, objectives and even measures of success, each of which can vary from matter to matter. Pursuing the correct objectives and operating in a cost-effective manner are the result of listening the clients.”

During his years in law school, he worked as a legal extern at the American Civil Liberties Union of Missouri and also clerked for attorneys in St. Charles County with practice specialties in criminal and family law.

Background

Tim received a Bachelor’s of Art with Distinction (magna cum laude), in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Columbia College, where he was on the Dean’s List, a Capstone Scholarship recipient and received an award as Distinguished Student in Philosophy. Tim was also captain of the men’s soccer team at Columbia College.

Tim then attended and earned his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law, where he received Academic Excellence Awards in Property, Family Law and Law and Culture. He was also a member of the Saint Louis University Public Law Review and was also on the Dean’s List.

He is currently licensed in the States of Missouri and Illinois, as well as U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
