Only a single lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the “Lawyer of the Year,” making this accolade particularly significant.
Since Best Lawyers began designating “Lawyers of the Year” in the U.S. in high-profile legal practice areas in 2009, Sandberg Phoenix attorneys have been honored several times, with G. Keith Phoenix receiving the award in 2011-2012 for his work in Product Liability Litigation and Product Liability Litigation – Defendants, respectively. Peter von Gontard also received the 2013 honor for his work in Product Liability Litigation – Defendants.

His recognition as Lawyer of the Year in 2014 marks Ken’s third time receiving the honor, having earned it also in 2012 for his work in Medical Malpractice Law – Defendants and in 2011 for his work in Medical Malpractice Law.
