He is experienced in a wide variety of contractual matters, including employment, non-compete, service, licensing, purchases and sales, leasing, and many others. Carl works closely with clients to develop effective, cost sensitive, strategies in areas such as advanced estate planning ideas, post death trust administration and probate procedures, real estate solutions, business taxes, business and non-profit governance and compliance, employee benefits, and succession planning. Carl’s wealth of experience has taught him to resist jumping to conclusions, because every client’s circumstances and stage in life is different and requires a different approach to addressing their specific legal needs. By listening closely and establishing objectives, he is able to help strategize a comprehensive plan for his clients, leading to long-term success, rather than short term problem solving.
In his free time, Carl enjoys traveling with his wife to visit his grown children and to explore national parks. He can often be found working on projects around his St. Louis area home or in the garden. Carl also enjoys running to work off his passion for fine foods, as well as reading a good book.
