Prior to his law practice, Clayton conducted research in the field of additive manufacturing. He applies a researcher’s mindset to clients’ inventions ensuring that clients obtain robust IP protection without missing valuable opportunities. Clayton has experience with a variety of technologies including electric motors, motor control software, heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment, medical devices, metamaterials and their applications, vehicles, lighting, digital payment networks, footwear, pet products, imaging equipment, communications systems, manufacturing equipment, semiconductors and their manufacturing, etc.
