Kathleen joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2019 assisting the business litigation, health law and products teams. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon and her Paralegal Certificate from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Kathleen has over 25 years of litigation paralegal experience and has assisted in a number of trials in wide variety of cases involving voluminous discovery and e-discovery.
Her litigation background has primarily been in business litigation and products liability, including asbestos, natural and propane gas explosions and medical device cases. She is interested in new technology, and enjoys the challenges of discovering, learning and using new technical tools to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of managing cases.
Outside of the office, Kathleen has one son, Hunter, a computer science major at the University of Kansas in Lawrence. She is a member of the Kansas City Running Club, enjoys gardening, and being caretaker to five cats and five dogs, all rescues, including one deaf dog, who reside with her and significant other on 21 acres in Blue Springs, Missouri.
