Paul also has a wealth of experience in representing business debtors, guarantors, committees of unsecured creditors and equity security holders, receivers and liquidating trusts in commercial disputes, business restructuring, workout and bankruptcy matters.
Paul frequently has represented directors and officers in fiduciary duty litigation and buyers and sellers of significant businesses in asset/business sales and acquisitions. With his broad experience in piercing the corporate veil, alter ego and successor liability, subordination, re-characterization, fraudulent transfers, preference matters and partnership disputes, he is actively involved in planning major corporate restructuring and high-net-worth individual asset planning and protection.
Paul serves as a member of the board of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review, frequently lectures on legal topics and contributes to Missouri Bar publications. He has served as an adjunct professor of real estate transactions at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
