Quinn Murphy brings over 13 years of legal and trial experience to the firm. Quinn’s practice focuses on business, commercial and construction litigation, and Quinn has represented contractors, subcontractors, manufacturers, real estate developers, long-term care clients in litigation throughout the United States. Unlike some litigation attorneys, Quinn is a trial lawyer with significant trial experience in state and federal court. In addition to his significant first chair trial experience, Quinn has successfully mediated and arbitrated disputes to resolution in Missouri, Illinois and multiple other states.
A creative thinker, Quinn’s ability to serve his clients relies not only on a deep knowledge and experience, but also upon his own ability to creatively solve common problems in non-traditional ways. If a resolution cannot be reached, Quinn’s clients rely upon him as a strong trial attorney, and Quinn’s personality, charisma and ability to “connect with a jury” have resulted in numerous favorable verdicts and awards for Quinn’s clients at trial.
Quinn spent the first eight years of his career with a large international firm that today is the largest law firm in the world. Thereafter and prior to joining Sandberg Phoenix, Quinn was a partner at two mid-to-large-sized Midwest law firms, where he represented clients in a wide range of business, commercial and construction litigation matters. He also led the development and organization of a sports law practice group at his prior firms, providing sports and entertainment industry clients with a broad range of legal support and services.
A former Drury University and Missouri State University basketball player who played for Coach Charlie Spoonhour prior to his move to St. Louis University, Quinn is an avid competitor, who feeds his competitive spirit with mixed martial arts, kickboxing and CrossFit. He and his wife, who played college volleyball, take an active role in their two children’s lives, coaching sporting teams and attending games and swim meets. When time permits, Quinn also enjoys watching movies and reading books about outdoor adventure and science fiction.
