Sandberg Phoenix today announced the launch of Algorithm, a DBA of Sandberg Phoenix, expanding its Name, Image and Likeness (NIL), Sports and Entertainment practice into a full-service athlete representation and marketing agency.
Led by Ben Chase, Algorithm was created in response to the rapid growth of the NIL marketplace and the increasing demand for comprehensive athlete representation. The agency will provide strategic brand management, sponsorship procurement and negotiation, marketing strategy, licensing, content and media opportunities, business development, and legal support through the resources of Sandberg Phoenix.
“The NIL landscape has evolved far beyond individual endorsement deals,” said Ben Chase, who serves as the leader of Algorithm. “Today’s athletes need strategic advisors who can help them build sustainable brands, identify meaningful business opportunities, and protect their long-term interests. Algorithm was built to provide comprehensive support while leveraging the legal, business, and strategic resources of Sandberg Phoenix.”
The launch represents the next phase of Sandberg Phoenix’s investment in the rapidly evolving sports, entertainment, and NIL marketplace. By combining agency services with sophisticated legal counsel, Algorithm offers athletes, brands, and organizations an integrated approach to navigating one of the fastest-growing sectors in sports business.
Before joining Sandberg Phoenix, Chase served as Director of NIL Strategy at the University of Florida, where he advised more than 500 student-athletes across 21 sports on NIL strategy, brand development, and partnership opportunities. His experience working directly with athletes, universities, brands, and industry stakeholders has positioned Algorithm to deliver strategic representation tailored to the modern collegiate and professional athlete.
As Algorithm continues to grow, the agency expects to expand its roster of athlete clients while adding talent to support its national platform and increasing portfolio of services.
