Sandberg Phoenix is pleased to announce that W. Perry Brandt has been appointed Managing Attorney of the firm’s Kansas City office, effective November 1, 2025.
Brandt, a seasoned trial attorney and respected leader within the legal community, has been an integral part of Sandberg Phoenix’s Kansas City team, where he focuses his practice on complex business, banking, and commercial litigation. With more than four decades of experience representing clients in state and federal courts, Brandt brings deep legal insight and proven leadership to his new role.
As Managing Shareholder, Brandt will oversee day-to-day operations in Kansas City, guide the firm’s local growth strategy, and serve as the liaison between the Kansas City office and the firm’s headquarters in St. Louis.

Before joining Sandberg Phoenix, Brandt served as Managing Partner of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner’s Kansas City office. He has also held numerous leadership positions in the legal community, including serving as President of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Kansas Bar Association, as well as on the Board of Governors of The Missouri Bar.
