Briana M. Hogan

Briana Hogan joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2026 and is a member of our Health Law Practice group. Briana focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense litigation.

Prior to working at Sandberg Phoenix, Briana worked in litigation handling matters in medical malpractice defense litigation, general civil litigation, and family law such as divorce, paternity, child custody, and child support. Briana earned her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in May 2023. During law school, she was actively involved in the Washburn Student Bar Association and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Corporate Compliance. She also gained valuable experience working with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts, where she developed a strong foundation in regulatory and healthcare-related matters that continues to inform her legal practice. Before attending law school, Briana earned a softball scholarship to attend the University of Louisiana at Monroe. While pursuing studies in biology and chemistry, she competed in four years of collegiate softball and earned Academic All-American honors. At ULM, she was a recipient of the ULM Presidential Scholarship, was consistently named to the Dean’s and President’s Lists, and served as an officer and active member of the Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society.

Outside of her legal practice, Briana enjoys spending time with her family and her mini- Australian Shepherd, Everett.
