Emily Cipra

Emily Cipra is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation practice group and an experienced litigator. She represents clients from many industries in a variety of matters but focuses her practice on employment, real estate, and insurance.

Emily represents and defends employers in employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination litigation. She responds to charges brought before administrative agencies, including the EEOC and parallel state administrative agencies, and counsels employers on general employment matters.

A large portion of Emily’s practice is dedicated to community association law. Emily represents and advises condominium and homeowner association boards with respect to association governance, interpretation of governing documents, amendments and new documents, contract review, enforcement, and collections. Emily is able to use her litigation experience to not only represent associations in litigation matters that may arise, but also counsel boards with an eye towards minimizing risk and avoiding litigation.

Additionally,  Emily represents insurance companies in first-party claims and insurance coverage disputes, both in litigation and pre-suit. She is experienced in providing coverage opinions and assisting clients with analysis of complex disputes involving various lines of coverage.
