Gracie A. Ricci
Gracie joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2025 as a First-Year Associate after previously participating in the firm’s Summer Associate Program in both 2023 and 2024. During her first summer with the firm, she was awarded the prestigious Timothy O’Leary Scholarship.
Gracie earned her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law, where she distinguished herself as Student Bar Association President and, prior to that, as Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion. She gained hands-on litigation experience through the Human Rights at Home Litigation Clinic and excelled as both a writer and oralist for the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, earning third place overall on the brief in the Eastern region and the Benjamin Xue & Associates Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition Student Award.
In addition to her J.D., Gracie completed a Master of Science in Sociology and Anthropology at Saint Louis University. Her thesis, “The Detention Alternative for Autistic Youth Court: A Case Study,” contributed to the field of juvenile justice reform and earned her the Department Excellence Award for Outstanding Student in 2025.
Gracie further expanded her legal education by pursuing an LL.M. at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., where she was awarded the Inter-American Human Rights Moot Court Competition Scholarship.
With a strong foundation in advocacy, research, and leadership, Gracie brings a unique perspective and passion for client service to her practice at Sandberg Phoenix.
Outside of her legal work, Gracie enjoys exploring new coffee shops and is perfecting her homemade espresso shots. She recently adopted a cat named Kaldi (yes, after the coffee shop), and she loves traveling, running, spending time with family, and learning new skills. She is studying Spanish, learning to play the electric guitar, and also plays the bassoon.
