Philip Polster is Counsel at Sandberg Phoenix and has many years of experience in drafting, prosecuting and analyzing patents in wide-ranging fields. He has comprehensive experience in U.S. and international trademark registration proceedings and patent and trademark licensing.

His industry experience includes biochemistry, polymer chemistry, electric motors and motor controls, radar systems, missile guidance, fluid flow measurement, potable hydrants, optics, lighting fixtures, toys, internal engine cooling systems, heavy vehicle suspensions, plating processes, fire-resistant coatings, dental equipment, archery equipment, subminiature fuses, and glass tube manufacturing, among others.

Philip enjoys tennis, bridge, genealogy, and singing in his church choir. He has been married to his wife Harriet since 1961 and has three children (two of whom are patent attorneys) and ten grandchildren.
