Jared Cluck
Attorney
Jared is an experienced attorney whose practice is devoted to complex business litigation, with an emphasis on employment disputes, professional liability claims, and insurance coverage matters. He focuses his practice on advising corporate clients, business owners, and professionals through every stage of litigation, from early case assessment and strategic counseling through trial and appeal. By combining exceptional legal analysis with a practical, business-focused perspective, Jared partners with clients to develop litigation strategies that protect their business interests while advancing their broader organizational objectives.
Outside the office, Jared enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, and reading. He is also an avid fan of Mizzou athletics and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Representative Experience
Obtained summary judgment for insurance carrier client in the United States District Court-Western District of Missouri after intervening in state court and moving to stay underlying litigation where plaintiff filed suit against insured alleging various tort and negligence claims arising out of a shooting on the insured’s premises. The federal court granted summary judgment in declaratory judgment suit filed by insurer and declared insurer’s assault and battery sub-limit applied to limit coverage for the underlying litigation.
Obtained dozens of dismissals and summary judgment rulings for employers and government agency clients in federal employment litigation.
Secured federal appellate affirmance of dispositive motion rulings in employment litigation matters on behalf of business owners and corporate clients.
Obtained dispositive motion ruling in Missouri state court for a corporate client on tortious interference claim.
Obtained favorable resolution for a high-profile client in a widely publicized fraud case.
Obtained favorable resolutions for a large healthcare provider client in high exposure personal injury cases.
Obtained favorable resolutions for a large school district in numerous slip-and-fall injury claims.
Obtained a favorable resolution for a large school district in a toxic tort case.
Obtained favorable resolution for business owners pursuing non-compete enforcement against former employees.
Obtained favorable resolution for an individual contesting a non-compete agreement against a former employer.
Represented numerous educational institutions and individual educators through Title IX investigations and related administrative proceedings in matters involving highly sensitive topics. Obtained favorable rulings and resolutions for clients.
Successfully intervened and stayed multiple state court cases to leverage favorable settlements in declaratory judgment actions.
