Jason Boatright

Jason joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2023 and is a member of the Business Practice Group. He focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, guiding clients through purchases and sales, as well as complex public incentive financing structures, including low-income housing tax credits. He also handles construction and development, banking and finance transactions, and general corporate business matters. Jason is an active member on the firm’s Real Estate Industry Team, Construction Industry Team and Corporate Industry Team.

Prior to attending law school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law, Jason studied Convergence Journalism at the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Journalism where he also played tenor saxophone as a member of Marching Mizzou. After graduating, he worked as a video producer and real-time editor at the Kansas City Star where he covered the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals, and NCAA football and basketball. While in law school, Jason was the Managing Editor of the UMKC Law Review. Jason’s journalism background gives him an attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure that is advantageous to his clients’ real estate and business goals.

Outside of the office, Jason enjoys playing basketball, softball, and spending time with his family and friends. Jason is also a dedicated St. Louis Blues fan.
