John joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2026 as a Shareholder in the firm’s Business Practice Group, concentrating his practice in estate planning, estate taxation, probate, trust matters, and wealth planning. Drawing on his background as both an attorney and Certified Public Accountant, John provides clients with strategic guidance on complex financial and wealth preservation issues.

Before entering the legal profession, John practiced as a Certified Public Accountant after earning his Bachelor of Science from Florida Southern College. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida College of Law.

John resides in Sarasota, Florida with his wife, Barbara and their children.
