Kit Adderholt

Kit joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2025 after first serving as a Summer Associate in 2024. She is passionate about estate planning and enjoys helping individuals develop personalized strategies to protect and transfer their assets, as well as working with businesses on a variety of transactional and operational matters.

Kit earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law, where she served as President of the Student Emissaries within the Office of Admissions and as an Articles Editor for the UMKC Law Review. She was also a member of UMKC’s Artificial Intelligence Committee, where she collaborated with students, faculty, and staff to promote the ethical and strategic use of AI in the legal field.

Outside of the office, Kit enjoys running, spending time with her family and dog, Roo, and exploring new coffee shops and good books.
