Laura Petkovich

Laura Petkovich is an Attorney in Sandberg Phoenix’s Health Law Practice Group and a key member of the Hospital Defense Team. Laura comes from a family full of physicians, dental providers, and nurses, so she is proud to represent hospitals and health care professionals through what can be a difficult process. She grew up with a strong interest in and understanding of medicine that she brings to all her cases in an effort to achieve the best outcome for her clients.

Laura has successfully represented several hospitals, medical groups, physicians, and dentists throughout all stages of litigation, and has significant experience defending high-exposure medical malpractice claims. Her keen insight into the complexities of healthcare law allows her to guide clients through challenging legal matters with strategic and effective advocacy.

In addition to her legal practice, Laura is actively involved in the firm’s Associate Development Committee as a board member, and serves as a mentor to incoming associates. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling to exciting new destinations and exploring the vibrant restaurant scene in St. Louis.
