Maria Mangiore Kohrs
Paralegal
Maria joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2026 as a Litigation Paralegal, bringing more than 25 years of experience in products liability, toxic tort, and white-collar crime matters. Her formal education, combined with decades of hands-on experience, provides a strong foundation in legal research, litigation support, and case management across these practice areas. She has extensive experience managing complex cases, including filing pleadings, coordinating discovery, and maintaining organized records across multiple jurisdictions. She is known for her attention to detail and collaborative approach. Maria has also provided executive-level support, pro bono service with the Court, and nearly two decades of volunteer leadership with youth and community organizations.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys traveling, photography, and cheering on the Mizzou Tigers and the St. Louis Blues. She loves spending time with her family, including her three grown children, friends, siblings, and her great-niece. She also can often be found VIP bartending at concerts, combining her love of social connection with fun experiences.
Civic Activities
For nearly two decades, Maria actively volunteered and held leadership roles in civic and nonprofit organizations supporting youth and community programs. She served as treasurer, secretary, volunteer coordinator, president, and Scout Master, managing budgets, organizing events and travel, coordinating volunteer teams, and supporting youth development initiatives. While she is no longer actively serving in these roles, she values community engagement and is currently exploring new volunteer opportunities.
