Slater Felzien

Slater Felzien joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2025 and is a member of the firm’s Health Law practice group, based in our St. Louis office. With five years of legal experience, Slater brings a well-rounded litigation background to his practice.

He began his career at a plaintiff’s firm in Kansas City, Missouri, where he successfully resolved numerous personal injury cases involving motor vehicle accidents and slip and fall incidents. He then practiced at a local defense firm, focusing on litigation defense for personal injury matters. This dual experience—advocating for both plaintiffs and defendants—enables him to offer strategic, well-informed guidance to health care clients facing litigation.

Outside of his legal practice, Slater is a founding board member of the Evan Easley Memorial Foundation, Inc., which raises funds for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in support of research and treatment for Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).
