Timothy P. Dugan

Timothy (Tim) is Counsel at Sandberg Phoenix and is a member of the Health Law Practice Group. He brings more than 25 years of experience defending clients in complex civil litigation, with a particular focus on health law, professional negligence, long-term care, correctional medicine, and civil rights litigation.

Tim represents medical professionals, nursing facilities, hospitals, and physicians in medical malpractice and wrongful death claims. He also has extensive experience representing healthcare providers in correctional settings and has handled and supervised hundreds of lawsuits involving medical professionals in prisons, jails, and other correctional environments. His experience in correctional medicine includes trying 30 cases to verdict, positioning him as a leading attorney in this niche field.

In addition to healthcare-related litigation, Tim represents clients in catastrophic loss matters, including vehicular liability and fire loss claims. He is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois and draws on his extensive litigation experience to develop strategic and effective approaches to complex legal disputes.
