Tyler joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2022 and practices in the firm’s Products Liability and Business Litigation groups. Tyler strives to help people navigate the stressful aspects of litigation. Whether it’s aiding clients in a personal injury matter, assisting an organization with business litigation, or representing professionals facing claims of liability, he is dedicated to advancing the interests of his clients. For years Tyler has helped clients resolve their matters by offering creative resolutions ultimately saving the time and stress of prolonged litigation or, when necessary, resolving disputes before the court with dispositive motions or at trial.

Tyler began cultivating his advocacy skills at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law where he graduated with honors. He competed in numerous mock trial competitions, served as Chief Justice of the Board of Barristers, and gained hands-on experience with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri where he helped the United States successfully defend a drug trafficking conviction on appeal. Prior to joining Sandberg Phoenix, he honed his skills at a boutique firm focused on personal injury and employment matters and later spent years litigating insurance-defense matters at a respected Kansas City area law firm.

Outside the office, Tyler is a former collegiate athlete who remains active and enjoys traveling with friends and family. He also cherishes time with his wife, daughter, and their “foster-fail” puppy.
