Caleb joined the firm in 2021 and is a member of the Business Litigation group at Sandberg Phoenix. Coming from two years as a legal writing lecturer in China, he is excited to return to drafting pleadings instead of grading them.
After law school at The University of Alabama School of Law, Caleb consulted with an education NGO in India through the American India Foundation (AIF). He provided compliance analysis for AIF’s Learning and Migration Program (LAMP), who provides housing and supplemental education for the children of migrant workers.
After consulting, he then practiced mortgage foreclosure and receivables law in Illinois and Missouri. He then accepted an offer to be a C.V. Starr Lectuer in Law at Peking University School of Transnational Law, teaching legal writing in China’s only American J.D. program.
Outside of the office, Caleb is an avid reader and usually within three feet of a mug of black coffee. He enjoys learning languages and traveling as much as possible.
