As a member of the Health Law practice group, Nicole assists the firm’s health care clients in handling litigation matters ranging from defending personal injury claims, to managing guardianships and other probate matters.
Her work defending medical malpractice and wrongful death cases has involved successfully representing physicians and hospitals in all aspects of litigation including investigation, discovery, motion practice, and first and second chairing at trial. She has also defended long-term care and senior living facilities, physician groups, nurses and other healthcare professionals. Nicole is also experienced in cases involving products and premises liability.
With years of experience in health law, Nicole knows that systemic problems occasionally exist beyond the current legal needs of her clients. She is able to comprehensively evaluate her clients’ situations and counsel them on how they can limit future litigation through measures such as increased employee training programs or revised employment contracts.
Outside the office, Nicole spends time with her kids, often taking them to various sporting events and competitions. She is an active runner and enjoys cooking.
