Hampton joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2023 as a member of the Products Liability practice group. He is based in Chicago, Illinois. His practice centers around defending companies in product liability and premises liability actions with an emphasis in toxic tort litigation.
He has extensive experience in all stages of pretrial litigation, including motion practice and deposing both fact and expert witnesses. He also has experience in the handling of multidistrict litigation in product liability actions. Prior to joining Sanberg Phoenix, Hampton worked as an associate at a Chicago-based litigation firm focusing his practice on products liability. He has also previously worked at a Missouri-based litigation firm focusing on medical malpractice defense.
Hampton earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law where he was involved in the school’s Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic. He holds a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Missouri. His uncommon educational background in the legal field and work experience gives Hampton a unique perspective in solving problems for his client base.
Outside of his work, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family as well as golfing and supporting the Packers, Cardinals, Blues and his alma mater Mizzou.
