Steve Gilliland

Steve rejoined Sandberg Phoenix in December 2023 supporting the business litigation team in Kansas City. Steve has an undergraduate degree, a paralegal certificate and has advanced certification in Legal Project Management. He has a prior tenure with Sandberg Phoenix of 27 years, serving in various capacities from litigation paralegal in the products liability and medical malpractice areas, as paralegal manager and as legal project manager. Steve has been invited to present to professional associations on the topic of paralegal management and legal ethics for paralegals. He was invited by the St. Louis Bar Journal to publish on the topic of Ethical Guidelines for Paralegals.

Steve is married with two children. He enjoys spending time with family and supporting his children in their various sports and extracurricular activities. He recently took up the study of jazz guitar.
